Circencester Preview Night 26 Feb 2013

Lycetts sponsor Cheltenham Preview Evening at the RAC

Lycetts, specialist insurers to the bloodstock industry, are sponsoring a Cheltenham Preview Evening at Cirencester Royal Agricultural College on Tuesday 26th February 2013. The evening is to be hosted by Channel 4 presenter Gina Bryce and is primarily for Cirencester Students and members of the TBA’s Next Generation Club, it promises to be a young and fun evening!

In keeping with the youthful audience, the panellists are trainers Tom Symonds & Harry Fry, jockeys Choc Thornton & Willie Twiston-Davies, bloodstock agent Anthony Bromley & TBA committee member & winner of the Tote Ten to Follow competition in 2008/9, Sam Hoskins. The evening will be co-hosted by Gina Bryce and Peter Morris, head of Equine Studies at Cirencester.

Anna Goodley from Lycetts comments ‘we are really looking forward to the Cheltenham Preview evening and we are particularly excited about the panel who are very enthusiastic and I am sure will have plenty to say! This is an opportunity for students at Cirencester to get to hear firsthand the views of individuals who are involved in the racing industry and I hope that in doing so their interest in racing will develop.’

It will be possible for students to sign up to the TBA’s Next Generation Club at the event and Sam Hoskins, Chairman of the Club says ‘Lycetts have been extremely generous in organising this evening free of charge for Cirencester Students and NGC members. The evening has been well subscribed to and we hope that not only will the panel provide an insight into racing, and some useful tips for the Festival, but that we will also spark the interest of a few people who are not regular racegoers and might be encouraged to go racing for the first time.

A small number of tickets are available from Lycetts upon request. www.lycetts.co.uk
