The 2m5f Ascot Chase run in mid February has Grade 1 status. The race was introduced to the program in 1995 and has an elite roll of honour including Tiutchez, One Man, Kauto Star, Voy Por Ustedes, Monets Garden, Riverside Theatre and Cue Card.
Both Cue Card and Riverside Theatre followed up wins here with success at the Ryanair Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
