The Doncaster Mares Hurdle run in late January is a relatively new race on the calendar and was first run in 2008.
It is a Grade 2 run over an extended 2 miles. The 2011 and 2013 races were lost to frost so there is only a small sample of five races to consider.
The 2014 winner Annie Power hasnt been seen this season.
The race is sponsored by OLBG and horses running well here might be expected to turn up at the Cheltenham Festival for the OLBG Mares Hurdle run for the David Nicholson Trophy.
