Blackstairmountian landed the Grade 1 Nakayama Grand Jump in Japan this morning for the formidable Mullins/Walsh/Ricci team. The winner was given a perfectly judged ride by Walsh and just held off the fast finishing Rikiai Kurofune.

The winner was returned at 26.4 and landed a first prize of 65,000,000 yen (about £430,000) and to think we thought there wasnt much jumps action this weekend !
