Dessie Hughes was the lastest trainer to speak to Racing Post TV about his Cheltenham team and provided this stable Tour in mid February:
His stable jockey Bryan Cooper has also given an upbeat report on their big Triumph Hurdle hope and recent Grade1 winner Our Conor:
“We always thought he was quite special and as good as what he showed the other day. Both days he won prior to that he was very impressive and he was even more impressive at Leopardstown. He showed that he jumps and he travels and can quicken off a good pace as well, so he looks to have everything you need for a Triumph Hurdle horse. We actually always thought he would always be better on better ground so hopefully if it does dry up it shouldn’t bother him.”
We have been tracking Our Conor on the forum since early December. Here is the video of his latest Grade 1 win:
Dessie Hughes is also one of the winningmost Cheltenham Festival jockeys since 1945.
