The Welsh Grand National is one of the big races of the Christmas Racing Festival season and is usually run on the 27th or 28th of December at Chepstow racecourse in Wales.
Winners in the last decade include a subsequent Cheltenham Gold Cup winner – Synchronised and two Aintree Grand National winners Silver Birch and Bindaree.
