The Fortria Chase is the first Graded 2 mile chase of the Irish National Hunt season.
It is seen as a pointer to the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham. Big Zeb and Moscow Flyer have made this the initial race of Champion Chase winning seasons. The race is run at Navan racecourse in early November.
Big Zeb had won three in a row before giving way to Peter Casey’s stable star Flemenstar in 2012.
