The 2013 British Champions Series kicks off with the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket on Saturday 4th May 2013. The first clasiic of the sesaon is run over a distance of 1 mile on the Rowley Mile course at Newmarket Racecourse. The race is restricted to 3 year old colts and the absence of 3 year old form the leading two year old from 2012 – Dawn Approach – will be the likely market leader.
