The Bet365 Chase at Sandown is the featrure race at the traditional jumps season finale at Sandown. It is a handicap chase run over 3 miles and 5½ furlongs in late April.
The 2013 renewal is due to take place on Saturday 27th April. The race was established in 1957 ( originally as the Whitbread gold Cup) and has an illustrious roll of honour including Arkle, Mill House and Desert Orchid. The Paul Nicholl’s trained Tidal Bay won the 2012 renewal under Daryl Jacob.
