The Towtown Novices Chase established in 1996 has Grade 2 status and is run over the RSA Chase distance of 3m1f. The 2013 renewal is due to be run on the 2 February.
The roll of honour includes the 1997 Gold Cup winner Mr Mulligan, Keen Leader and Ollie Magern. No horse has doubled up in the RSA Chase in the twelve renewals run to date.
