The race is run over 3 miles and currently has Grade 2 status. Three of the last five renewals. Pre race favourites Oscar Whisky and Reve De Sivola fought out a thrilling finish to the 2013 renewal with Nick Williams horse prevailing but Oscar Whisky proving his staying credentials in defeat. The horses are likely to reoppose at the Cheltenham Festival.
