The “bookies war” continues in the run up to the 2013 Cheltenham Festival. William Hill have taken a different stance to the rest of the market by not offering the Non Runner No Bet concession but instead going after business with a series of daily specials. From 9:00 am this morning they are taking on Oscar Whisky.

We were impressed with his performance in the 2013 Cleeve Hurdle where he just went down narrowly to Reve de Sivola but seemed to confirm that he does stay the three mile trip. His jockey, Barry Geraghty certainly has high hopes for the horse, speaking to bookmaker Paddy Power on Tuesday he made Oscar Whisky his bet of the week.
