Camelot showed a terrific burst of acceleration to win the 2000 Guineas and is now a warm favourite to double up in the 2012 Epsom Derby. Although Coolmore landed the race last year with Por Moi their main trainer, A P O’Brien will be seeking his first win in the race since High Chaparral in 2002. Sir Michael Stoute has notched up three wins and Jim Bolger and John Oxx provided successful Irish trained winners in the interim :
